Here are realistic seamless photographic textures for use in 3D renderings, games, on websites or in compositings.

The approach is not to prevent visible repeating when looked at from greater distance. The goal is to show interesting details that are often missing on the commercial textures available. Frank’s textures are mostly meant for close-ups, they often display an area smaller than 50cm².

All textures are photographed with a digital camera (the older textures with a Canon Powershot G2, the more recent ones with a Canon EOS 350D, EOS 450D, or EOS 200D). After taking the pictures, Frank retouches them in Photoshop and makes them seamless. Since he does this for fun and exercise, there’s no garantee for perfect seamlessness.
